Florida landscape designs and landscape lighting project in Orlando Florida by BLG Environmental: A residential client desired a new landscape design that would blend well with the native elements of the property. Large oaks and magnolias framed the property but other visual elements were needed to complete this Florida landscape design. The landscape design included under canopy trees, colorful accents, rich boulders, and incredible outdoor LED landscape lighting. This would provide the perfect landscape design to compliment the property.

Our Orlando landscape design team started by removing all existing vegetation and installing tabebuia and Japanese blueberry trees nestled throughout the large oaks. A large specimen European fan palm provided a stunning anchor to this corner lot. These were enhanced with deer resistant colorful bromeliads, duranta, apostle iris and textures throughout. This provided color year around in the filtered light.

The Florida landscape design continued with installation of large dark colored boulders. These wrapped and framed the existing trees. This created a unique focal point at the street on this corner lot. Soil was carefully brought in to raise the area and showcase the colorful foliage amongst the boulders.

Finally, the Florida landscape design was completed with brilliant LED outdoor lighting. Soft wall wash fixtures highlighted the entire grandness of this home. Decorative path-lights highlighted the large boulders and guided guests to the entry lined with columns. Larger accent lights reflected the gorgeous oaks providing ambient light throughout the property. A single accent light highlighted the American flag dawn to dusk, reminding visitors of our country.
