A family in Winter Garden, FL desired a Florida landscape that included a new patio landscape design for their lakefront backyard. The family desired a new outdoor experience that would better utilize their sloped backyard. The patio landscape design by BLG Environmental Services included a new decorative retaining wall, raised beds, custom aluminum fencing, synthetic turf, and Alliance outdoor lighting.

Our premier Florida landscape design company started with grading and leveling off the back of the house. A concrete footer was then formed and a 48” retaining wall system was created. This provided a level area to expand the brick paver patio out into the yard all on one level. The result was an extended outdoor space for entertaining, dining, and cold nights enjoyed by the fire-pit!

The new patio landscape design project continued with a custom seating wall created around the perimeter of the expanded patio. Decorative Tremron Stonegate wall material was fabricated and installed. Raised garden beds were incorporated for the owner’s hobby of planting flowers and vegetables. Attractive columns were added at the corners for visual interest and a stately look.

The BLG landscape team finished with elegant black aluminum railing being mounted. This was utilized to not block the lake view out of the house. Synthetic turf was also incorporated to create a wash area for the owners’ puppies. Alliance outdoor lighting was utilized inside the seating wall and columns which added depth and a finished look to nighttime events. With a new patio landscape design completed, the family will enjoy years of gatherings by the lake!
